Get ready for the Night Owl’s upcoming Kickstarter! Heroes’ Call to Adventure is a book featuring six adventures and new character options for D&D 5e and fantasy RPGs. The book transports you to the perilous Mirewood forest and serves as a gateway for forming new adventuring parties and embarking on thrilling quests. The book will include a number of flexible one-shot and mini-adventures requiring minimal preparation to run, but together, they weave an expanding storyline. These are designed for starting and low-level adventuring parties (levels 1-3). A perfect gateway to DnD and the world of Night Owl adventures! This is the beginning of our epic campaign story!

But that’s not all. With the “Exceptional Characteristics,” you’ll also get a new system for additional options during character creation. Craft extraordinary heroes boasting unique traits, strengths, weaknesses, adventure seeds, and hooks intertwined with your background and the campaign world. Plus, expect plenty of DM campaign material and extra content. Kickstarter backers will have the opportunity to vote on the type of extra content to be included.

Heroes’ Call to Adventure will be full of battle maps and stunning illustrations by acclaimed artists who have collaborated with The Night Owl before.

The Angels & Devils Trilogy Kickstarter is LIVE!

In this epic trilogy for DnD 5e, you fight alongside the angels against a devil incursion! And that is only the beginning…

The trilogy is designed for characters of levels 6-8. The three adventures come with the Heaven & Hell Codex, full of new material for this trilogy and your own games. There are unique magic items, such as the holy sword Devil’s Bane. Other insidious and deadly items come from the Lower Planes, such as the Red-Eyed Box. You’ll find angelic boons and blessings for your player characters, and diabolical feats and powers. There are new types of angels: celestial agents, and grey fallen angels. And new types of devils: cutter devils, slithering devils, not to forget the hellfire lions, who can drag their prey with them to Hell! A gallery of full-fledged NPCs is included, as well as a diabolical cult.

THE ANGELS & DEVILS KICKSTARTER IS COMING!

The Night Owl is happy to announce this Kickstarter going live in July!

North of Zinamistra, past the mountains, lie the Vermilion Highlands. Take the mountain road to reach the dwarven stronghold of Cragtop Citadel. Unravel the citadel’s mysteries. Frightful discoveries await! The party gets embroiled in a truly diabolical plot that threatens all.

Equipped with a map of the Vermilion Highlands, the party must venture out to warn its people of the devil incursion. Light the celestial beacons and prepare your defenses! But can you find and persuade a fallen angel to help you rather than to end your life? And are you able to claim the legendary angel blade: Devil’s Bane? Diabolical cultists, real devils, and creatures native to the region will all try to stop you.

In the climactic final part of the trilogy, the party must find a way to the very heart of evil. The vast halls of the dwarven kingdom are now lit by hellfires. Do you dare to take the long, dark roads under the mountains? They will lead you to your greatest fear. Can you face the general of the infernal armies: the pit fiend Baaldemor? Unless his plans are thwarted, hellfire will reign…

On top of the three adventures, you’ll get an abundance of new D&D material. Unique magic items, such as the holy sword Devil’s Bane. The Night Owl is excited to announce this Kickstarter going live soon!

To Catch A Unicorn is an epic fantasy adventure for D&D (5th edition). In an ancient forest, the magic of elven lords from eons past still pounds in overgrown ruins and flows through plants and soil. But an evil hag is gathering a motley crew of monsters to her. The only hope of stopping the growing darkness is to bring back the legendary Protector: the Forest Lord unicorn. But will your adventuring party survive, find a way to bring the unicorn back, and save the forest?

Welcome to the enchanted forest of Zinamistra!

The adventurers must enter these woods, explore them, find answers and survive. They will meet many denizens of this mystical realm, from quirky fey to the deadly servants of the night hag Natraxa Mafleur. The party must find out what has happened to the unicorn and bring it back for an epic final showdown against the witch and her servants!

The adventure is suitable for 4-6 characters of level 4-5. It comes with a set of appendices full of new spells, monsters, magic items, herbs, inventive rules and more!

This supplement aims to take the “enchanted forest” to the next level. The idea is to go much further than just including encounters with forest or fey creatures. The product will include new and simple (I promise!) “game systems” to bring the enchanted forest to life. You can use these for creating your own magical forests too! More details will be presented soon as the Kickstarter goes live.
